From Flax to Linen

Do you like to get dirty? Do you like plants? Do you like the accomplishment of doing something from start to finish?

If so, this is your fiber class!

We’ll spend the morning learning how flax grows and how to process it for fiber. Talk about locally grown, we’ll be working with flax grown fifty feet from the fiber studio! Students will have the opportunity to work together and prep their own flax fiber for spinning.

We’ll break bread together, then spend the afternoon learning to prepare our flax fiber for spinning, how best to spin it, and how to finish it for use.
