Join us at the workshop at the Fool X the World Farm for a natural dye day. We provide the pots, tools, and dye. All you need to do is bring your own textile to dye! The workshop will be open for visitors from 10AM through 4PM. Drop in anytime to do your dyeing. Keep in mind your textile will need to stay in the pot for at least an hour, plan accordingly! Get those last minute Christmas gifts made!
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch with you! You are also welcome to visit the chickens!
Dyes: black walnut (brown), madder (red), indigo (blue), osage orange (bright yellow), and onion skin (golden yellow)
We will have one alum mordant pot going as well.
Optional: You can purchase a mordanted tote bag or skein of yarn that will be ready for you to dye when you arrive. See below.
