This whorl is designed to be used with a 3/8" diameter spindle shaft
Wood: Oak
Finish: Butcher Block Cream
Weight with Shaft and hook: 1.8oz
This whorl was designed to my specifications and falls at the upper end of a medium weight spindle; it will be great for heavier yarns like sport or worsted, less so for laces. Care for this item as you would other wooden tools with occasional use of wax or oil as needed.
