In this class, we’ll learn about how to prepare flax from field to distaff. We’ll talk about the retting process, learn all of the tools involved, and we’ll have some hands-on experience processing our own flax that we grew here on the farm. Everyone will take home some of the flax we prepare! Bring a sack lunch or something to share and we’ll break bread together at the end of class!
