A New Year, A New Luthvarian

Welcome to the new virtual (and physical) home of Luthvarian Fiber Arts! As we transition to this new studio and website you’ll notice (if you’ve been around) a number of changes. My goal is to continue developing a creative and scientific space for fiber artists to learn and grow in.

The Studio

In September this year, we moved to 20 acres of farm land near Kansas City. We weren’t planning to move, but we were presented with an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.

We’ve spent the last two months hustling to get moved in and ready to open a new studio. We hosted a successful open house in mid-November and now we’re prepping for an awesome 2024.

What should you look forward to?

  • Free Monthly Spin-Ins

  • Day Classes

  • Weekend Retreats with Guest Teachers

  • Goats and Chickens to pet

  • Bonfires - because I like fire

The Website

The website has been long overdue for an overhaul and the move to the new studio really pushed us to move on it.

What can you expect to see in the beginning of the new year?

  • A new virtual web store where you can purchase supplies and swag.

  • Editing and reposting of some of our best blog posts.

  • Video Course Content

  • A calendar of events I’m teaching at

Any suggestions on what you’d like to see? I won’t make any promises, but I’m always open to good ideas!
